Born from a profound belief in the voice as an instrument of transformation, the Expressive Singing Company brings together artists who refuse to separate their soul from technique and skill. We create performances that speak to the human condition.
Our work spans contemporary music, interdisciplinary performance and educational concerts. We are based in Geneva, and are available to perform across Switzerland and internationally.

What does it take to belong?
Soundtrack – Finding Home is a musical and theatrical performance that follows several characters arriving in Geneva, their suitcases heavy with memories, expectations and illusions. From departure to arrival, from administrative shock to solitude, each one crosses a city that first ignores them, then categorises them, and puts them to the test. On stage, bodies, voices and songs tell of this rite of passage: the struggle to find one's place, to belong, to recognise oneself in a new environment.
Through monologues, live music and collective movement, the city becomes a character in its own right: cold, structured, at times impersonal, yet also alive with possibility. Little by little, the individual paths cross, the voices answer one another, and community and belonging emerge. A tender, contemporary journey through self-exile, identity and connection, where stage and audience finally become one.

The Expressive Singing Company is not a list of names, it is a family of voices. We all come from different worlds: teachers and performers, beginners and lifelong singers, people shaped by different cultures, languages and professions. What we share, is a love of singing together, and the feeling of having finally found a place where every voice belongs.
Here, the free expression and creativity of each person is a right. We welcome diversity, we listen, and we make the practice of singing a tool for confidence, personal growth and genuine connection between people. Around these values, strangers become a community — and a community becomes a family.
Founder & Artistic Director
Singer, vocal coach and creator of Expressive Singing — a unique approach blending voice, emotion, body and imagination. With a background in mediation sciences and a Master in Artistic Vocology, she guides children and adults to explore their voice as a powerful tool for expression and connection.
Committee Member
Mouniah was born and raised in Geneva and holds a Master's degree in International Studies. After working in London, she returned to Switzerland, living in Zurich before settling back in Geneva.
Alongside her career, she has always enjoyed creativity and learning. Over the years, she explored dance styles such as tango, kizomba, salsa, Bharatanatyam, and theatre. She also loves travelling and playing backgammon or chess.

Leads the development of Expressive Singing, building bridges between artistic excellence and community impact.
